Nicolas Ventura

Nicolas Ventura (pronounced “Nikola”) is a critical facilities engineer who joined NERSC in 2021. He obtained his master’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2022 and his PE (professional engineer) license in control systems engineering in 2024. With his prior experience working in facilities engineering, game design, and teaching, Nicolas is now supporting the deployment of data center infrastructure management software, and is developing visualization and analysis tools for infrastructure data at NERSC.
