Security

The Security Group is responsible for safeguarding NERSC against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements. The group configures and operates key security systems, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and network monitoring tools. The group conducts vulnerability scanning, performs security reviews and assessments, and actively monitors for and responds to security threats, ensuring a proactive and comprehensive approach to cybersecurity.
