Subhashree Dhandapani

Biographical Sketch

Subhashree Dhandapani has experience in computer networking and the Internet of things. She worked as a senior engineer and handled projects to develop solutions, and provide IIOT consultancy and secure programming using various frameworks. Before joining NERSC, Subhashree volunteered in non-profit organizations to help small businesses in the US thrive in a digital environment. She helped assess their security posture and potential risks, by conducting penetration tests to bring out vulnerabilities in their web applications.
 
Subhashree did her Bachelor’s in electrical and electronics engineering in India during which she had held internships parallel to her course of study. After acquiring some work experience, she went on to pursue her master’s in electrical engineering, specializing in computer networking and security, at San Jose State University. During her academic years, she has completed notable academic projects in software defined networking, network security, and machine learning.
