Erik Palmer
Dr. Erik Palmer is a software integration engineer for NERSC at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He joined NERSC in the User Engagement Team to support their efforts in providing continuous integration services to facility users and to support other Exascale Computing Project Software Integration efforts. Currently, he is a member of the Programming Environments and Models Group where he contributes to software integration, testing, deployment, user training and workload analysis activities in support of Perlmutter (NERSC's current main system based on NVIDIA GPUs) and the upcoming NERSC 10 system. Previously, he worked at the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering, developing documentation, tutorials, and automated tests for the massively parallel adaptive mesh refinement software framework AMReX. With a background in applied mathematics, he has broad interests in HPC systems, software, documentation, and community development.
