Kadidia Konate
Biographical Sketch
Kadidia Konaté is a data scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) in the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC). She leads efforts in machine learning for high performance computing problems, including workload characterization and anomaly detection across data centers.
From 2014 to 2019, Kadidia was a software engineer and data scientist at ServiceNow Inc. in San Diego, a leading cloud computing company. At ServiceNow, she worked on recommender systems for software engineers, capacity planning with backup size and time prediction and software development for ServiceNow performance analytics feature.
Prior to ServiceNow, Kadidia worked as an actuary consultant for various insurance companies, including CNP Insurance (Global500), AXA (CAC40), and Ernst & Young in Paris (France).
Kadidia received an Eng. Degree (M. Eng) from Ecole Centrale Paris, a top French engineering school (Grandes Ecoles) in Paris, France in 2013. She was the recipient of the BRAFITEC Excellence Scholarship for exchange studies at the Math and Statistics Institute at the University of San Paulo (Brazil) in 2012. Kadidia was Summa Cum Laude at the Fourier Institute in Grenoble, where she received her B.S. degree in fundamental mathematics in 2010. She was selected for Excellence research internships by the VERIMAG and the LIG laboratories, the two largest research laboratories of informatics in Grenoble (France) in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Kadidia is the recipient of the Excellence scholarship from the governments of Mali and France (2007-2013). She has also been the recipient of the Bronze medal in the Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad and was ranked first nationwide for the Baccalaureate in Mali in 2007.
