FollowDesign Forward and Fast Forward Semi-Annual Review
A semi-annual meeting for the Design Forward and Fast Forward initiatives will be held in the 50 Auditorium at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on September 19-22, 2016. Under the initiatives, AMD, Cray, IBM, Intel Federal and NVIDIA will work to advance extreme-scale computing technology on the path to Exascale.

Site Access
All non-LBNL participants must register to obtain a visitor bus pass or parking pass in advance. We recommend carpooling, shuttle and taxi. Check-in with Security and picture ID are required. LBNL Security requires the names, citizenship and country of birth of all visitors. Please print and bring with you the visitor pass issued to you by Site Access. If you have questions, please contact Zaida McCunney and Lynn Rippe by September 12, 2016.
Parking
Parking at LBNL is limited due to a number of construction projects. We recommend car pooling, LBNL shuttle, or taxi. If you drive, a parking space may be reserved. For those visitors who plan to drive to LBNL, we will reserve general parking near the 50 auditorium.
Shuttle Information
There is an LBNL shuttle bus from various locations around the City of Berkeley, including near the Downtown Berkeley BART station. The BART shuttle bus stop is at the corner of Addision and Shattuck. The Blue Route Shuttle drops you off in front of the 50 auditorium. If you plan to take the LBNL shuttle, you are required to have an LBNL Visitor Bus Pass (requires advance notice) and picture ID to show the bus driver.
Bay Area Rapid Transit Train (BART)
The Downtown Berkeley BART station is two short blocks from the LBNL shuttle line on the corner of Addison and Shuttuck. The LBNL Blue Shuttle Bus will take you to the Blackberry Canyon entrance and the the 50 Auditorium. »BART Web site
