NUG Community Call: Best Data Practices at NERSC

The Monthly NUG Community Call is a regular opportunity for our users to show off what they’ve done, for NERSC to get feedback, and for users to exchange ideas.

NERSC users generate, access, move and share petabytes of data, within NERSC and between NERSC and other facilities. NERSC provides a variety of file storage systems and data transfer mechanisms to cover the wide range of needs of our users. In this talk we will outline which systems are best suited to which usage scenarios, and present some best-practices that you can follow to most-effectively manage your data at NERSC. We will demonstrate some of the available tools, and hold a Q&A session to help with specific questions.

We'll also use the NERSC Users Slack #webinars channel for discussion before, during, and after the meeting.
